Teaching Experience
Scott started teaching in the fall of 1087 at H& H Music in Houston, Texas. He continued there until 1991. Also during this period, Scott wrote a monthly guitar instruction column for a popular local music publication Rivethead Magazine. He contributed to this magazine for three years, publishing more than 35 lessons. He has also made a series of instructional videos for Texas Music Arts.

From 1991 to 1994, Scott taught at Evan's Music City, also in Houston. As his performance schedule became more and more demanding, Scott found it increasingly difficult to manage a large roster of students at the music store. As a result, in 1994, he began teaching private students at his home. Scott enjoys teaching in this relaxed atmosphere and continues to do so so at the present time.
